We are seeking an enthusiastic, and highly motivated candidates for the position/s of Climbing Arborists, EWP Operators & Groundcrew to join our dynamic and professional team, where we operate on the principle of a 4 day work week.

We have Full Time and Casual Roles Available

The Role

  • We operate from our Lonsdale and Kilburn Depots which allows us to undertake works all throughout SA.
  • Works will include but not limited to: Tree Removals, Climbing Works, Street Tree Pruning/Reductions & Formative Pruning within South Australia. Our clients are spread all over South Australia so there may be opportunities to work away with Living Away From Home Allowance.

Essential

  • Experience working within the industry and undertaking relevant works
  • Passion for working outside within the Arboriculture and Horticulture Industry
  • Strong work ethic and able to work in a team environment
  • Current and Valid Drivers Licence
  • Chainsaw Ticket
  • An ability to learn advanced arboriculture industry techniques.

Desirable – highly favourable

  • MR Truck Licence
  • EWP above 11m – only for EWP Operator Role
  • Certificate III in Arboriculture or Horticulture (or similar)
  • Climbing Certified with experience
  • WZTM (or be willing to obtain)
  • White Card (or be willing to obtain)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and highly motivated candidate for the position of Maintenance Mechanic and Small Plant Mechanic to join our dynamic and professional team.

The Roles available are:

Maintenance Mechanic:

  • Relevant recognised Trade Certificate or experience as a Diesel Mechanic/Fitter
  • Diagnostic skills and Troubleshooting experience
  • Urbans utilises a range of different vehicles and equipment including but not limited to; skid steers bobcats, excavators, tractors, EWP, Tree Chippers, various-size trucks, ride-on mowers.
  • Ability to follow OEM service schedules
  • Self-motivated and able to work unassisted
  • Current and Valid Drivers Licence

Small Plant Mechanic:

  • Relevant recognised trade certificate in small plant mechanical i.e. Stihl, John Deere, Toro, and Kubota, or equivalent experience within a similar role
  • Experience working in a small plant workshop environment.
  • Ability to follow OEM service schedules
  • High level mechanical diagnostic skills and ability to carry out service/repairs in a timely manner
