1976 – As a one-man Operator, Founder and Director, Leon Whitehead started running his own lawn mowing and weed control business, ‘Leon’s Lawn Service’.
Early 1980’s – During this time Leon was receiving a lot of interest from local councils for his services and he started to employ team members to work alongside him.

2004 – ‘UrbanVirons Group’ was incorporated to include all divisions, as the company expanded further. The “name behind the scenery” became our slogan. It was intended to incorporate the environment and the scenery that we look after.
2006 – UrbanVirons Group further expanded and set up a Head Office at Flinders Park.
2009 – UrbanVirons Group continued to expand, moving to a new Head Office in Regency Park.
2013 – Today UrbanVirons Group’s Head Office is now located in Kilburn. Satellite depots are located in Lonsdale and Mount Barker.
