Urbans were thrilled to be engaged by the City of Marion to construct the Hugh Johnson Boulevard Reserve Upgrade which took 6 months to construct. This reserve has delivered family friendly facilities and something for all ages from a Junior playground with Labyrinth and Enchanted Forest complete with wood carvings, see-saw and swings and a bitumised pump track for BMX bikes and scooter riders.
The Adventure playground has a 5m tall tunnel slide, climbing wall, rotating pommel swings and fitness equipment close by. The sports area has a 3-on-3 basketball court, netball ring and soccer goals.
Other works included picnic shelters, BBQ and seating, over 600 linear metres of asphalt paths, garden beds with automated irrigation systems, new toilet block and indented car parking.
This playground is already a big hit with not only the local community but has attracted visitors from across Adelaide.
