An exciting Angle Vale playground project has recently been completed by Urbans.
The construction works took place at the Angle Vale Community Sports Precinct in the City of Playford.
Our Landscape Construction team was contracted to upgrade the precinct’s playground area, adding some exciting new elements, including a BMX pump track that has been an immediate activity attraction for local children.
Children using the $900,000 upgraded facility will certainly be excited to enjoy the new equipment that was installed.
The works at the Angle Vale Community Sports Precinct included:
- Playground equipment
- Half-court basketball court
- BMX track
- Shelter
- Irrigation
- Associated landscaping
- Furniture (picnic setting, shade sails, seating)
- Public toilet
- Disabled parking
Popular precinct
The Angle Vale Community Sports Precinct is an important community hub for one of the fastest-growing suburbs in the state. It is home to large cricket, football, netball and soccer clubs.
The sport and community space includes six netball courts, one football oval, two soccer pitches and cricket nets. The complex also includes a shared multi-purpose clubroom.
Play equipment installed during the Angle Vale playground project included:
- Flying fox
- Carousel
- Nest Swing
- Trampoline
The works complement and provide a welcome boost to the Angle Vale playground.
Urbans’ work was the final stage of a more-than-decade long investment in the site that has provided a community and sporting hub for the Angle Vale community.
